Selena Gomez: 'I am definitely single'

Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez says Twilight hunk, Taylor Lautner, is one of her good friends, but she is single.

"He's one of my good friends," Selena told Extra, adding, "I'm single -- definitely single."

Speaking to Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards on May 31, Taylor echoed similar sentiments on the relationship.

“She’s a great girl, great friend,” he said. “She’s a great girl.”

Last month, Gomez was seen on a couple of dates with Taylor in Vancouver.

Taylor was in the Canadian city filming the Twilight sequel New Moon, while Selena was filming the movie adaptation of the children's book,Ramona And Beezus.
