Teen star Joanna 'JoJo' Levesque is heading to college this autumn, after winning a place at a prestigious university.
The singer/actress will study cultural anthropology and international affairs at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. JoJo, who found fame at 13 with her debut song Leave (Get Out), reveals online, "After much consideration and research, I have decided that Northeastern University is the place for me! In the past week I've taken tours and met with students and professors of other Boston based schools, and now that the time to commit has come, I'm happy with the idea of being a student at Northeastern. They have a wonderful cultural anthropology program (which is what I am interested in going for) as well as a dual major option in International Affairs/ Anthropology. I'm so excited! My long term goal is to gain a doctorate.... but I gotta take it ONE step at a time!"
If the 18 year old gets homesick, she can always exchange notes with
another new student, Harry Potter star Emma Watson, who
will be studying just 50 miles away at Providence, Rhode Island's Brown
University.
JoJo's decision came following her fiancee Cole Carson decided to do Degree
In Business Administration from one the biggest university in United States, NYU
(New York University)
