Obviously, a certain vampire movie dominated the MTV Movie Awards earlier this week, and I got a chance to chat it up with half the cast. Taylor Lautner gets really excited about the idea of Megan Fox being a fan and dishes about how much more action he gets in New Moon.

Did Ex-Dawson's Creek Show Runner Just Trash Katie Holmes?

No, it isn't 1998. It's just that former Dawson's Creek show runner Tom Kapinos spoke at a Los Angeles Times' Envelope Emmy screening series panel about his current show, Californication, last night, and well, he went off on his former starlets.

In talking about the genesis of Californication, Tom explained: "The idea came out of my own misery of working on Dawson's Creek. I came out here to write screenplays, and I ended up on Dawson's Creek, which was very lucrative and fun, but it was not what I wanted to do."

Tom then went on to seemingly trash Dawson's stars Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams. Check this craziness out...

"The experience was miserable," he continued about Dawson's. "But it was a four-year boot camp. It was like going to TV grad school and learning how to run a television show. Anybody on that show who could make a decision was allowed to run it at some point. I inherited the very awkward college years, and I almost ran the show into the ground. But I learned everything that I needed to know about how to run a show."

When the panel moderator asked, "What was it specifically that made it such a challenge?" Tom dropped this bomb: "It was the four monstrous actors at the core of it."

The audience erupted in laughter as Tom continued, saying: "They were very young, and they got very famous, and they made life miserable for any writer or producer on the show."

Lucky To Kiss Megan Fox

Cole Carson revealed that the kissing scene he shared with Hope & Faith Actress Megan Fox was amazing and find himself Lucky To Be One of those to share a scene with her.

"Megan is really gorgeous and is also beautiful actress I've seen in many years. Sharing that scene made me really nervous, cause I was sharing that scene with the sexiest women of the year, after all that happened I asked Megan am I a bad kisser, then she laughed and said that the Kiss looked original and brought the true emotions on the set of the movie. As this scene was the last in the movie, now I can look forward for taking a break for around a month and pack my bag and go on a small trip as the movie is completed, now its upto the other main crew members to do their magic work." said 2-Time Grammy Winner Cole Carson

Cole Carson: Miley should be a country singer

Cole Carson praised Miley Cyrus' performance in Hannah Montana: The Movie
and also her singing.

The 2-Time Grammy Winner quoted,"If you see the movie the
most of the songs sanged by Miley are of country music, in which she is excel. It seems like the country music is in her veins. Ofcourse if you listen her voice when she sings country music, you'll praise her but when she sings some rock songs or pop songher voice goes off tract which really is not anyone wants to happen. I am not criticizing her voice, but just wanna give her advice that some singers have that kind of voice which suited for some genres."

Cole Carson himself is among very few singers who are multi-genre type.

Kris Allen: I Almost Quit American Idol

Kris Allen might not have won American Idol without the encouragement of his No. 1 fan: his wife, Katy."My wife has been the [best] support ever," Allen tells Ellen DeGeneres. "I seriously almost gave up a lot, and she was just like, 'You have to keep going.' She believed in me more than I believed in myself."

In fact, Allen says he didn't think he had a chance of winning throughout most of the competition. "I was shocked every week I was there," he says. "But I think when I did "Ain't No Sunshine" -- I think that was the point where I was just like, ya know, I think I can stay in here for a while."

Although Idol judge Simon Cowell had criticized the married 23-year-old for playing the "wife card" and thought he should have remained a "single guy" for fans, Allen didn't mind."Yeah, I care about her a lot, so it didn't bother me that she was brought up," he says, adding that he will take her on a vacation to show his appreciation for her support this season. "I think it bothered her more than it bothered me."

Natalie Cole Recovering From Kidney Transplant

Natalie Cole will be hard-pressed to live through a more unforgettable experience.
The Grammy-winning singer, who has been undergoing dialysis since last fall,
successfully underwent kidney transplant surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
yesterday and is currently "resting comfortably," her publicist, Maureen O'Connor, tells E! News.

The kidney was procured from a deceased organ donor and made its way to the 59-year-old Cole with help from One Legacy, a transplant donor network in Southern California."Ms. Cole's physicians have advised her to postpone her summer tour dates as she recuperates for the next three to four months," her rep said.
The singer, who just last month proved in peak form belting out "Something's Gotta Give" on an American Idol results show, has been undergoing kidney dialysis three times a week, for roughly three hours each time, since last September.She began receiving the treatment in New York last fall when she was hospitalized after suffering a setback in her chemotherapy, which she had been receiving for hepatitis C. Four months after beginning the aggressive treatment, both her kidneys failed.
The singer's recovery will force the postponement of the remaining dates on her world tour.

Last week, Cole canceled a string of dates scheduled to take place in South Korea, though she did not give a reason why.Appearing on Larry King Live last month, Cole admitted that without a transplant, she would be on dialysis for the rest of her life. During her appearance, dozens of viewers wrote in offering to test as possible
donors.

"There are some great human beings out there," she said at the time. "That's all I can say."
